Interview: An Author’s Guide to Not…

Apr 14, 2021 | General, Series: Destructive Romance | 0 comments

About a month ago, I did a virtual interview with the fabulous Terri Jones on her Author Chat YouTube Channel. And let me tell you, I was nervous as all hell. But it was a fantastic experience, and Terri came up with some EXCELLENT questions. She really had me digging deep into the topic of abuse portrayed as romance.

It all started when I stumbled across a thread on reddit about “the worst tropes” and got very opinionated. That turned into a blog post, which I then shared on a Facebook romance group. Terri Jones just happened to be a fellow member on that group, yada yada yada, now I’m pretty sure I’m YouTube famous.

Well, I mean. Maybe if I get a few thousand more views, lol.

Thank you so much Terri for the amazing interview! These are important topics, and I’m honored to have gotten the opportunity to speak on them.

If you haven’t seen the interview yet, you can watch it below. And check out Terri’s channel here. Enjoy!

About the Author

Anna Cackler is a lover of story — and a sucker for drama, romance, and dark beauty. Which is odd, considering how generally unserious she is most of the time. She’s married to her best friend, and they have a lovely little family in Arkansas. they ahve two dogs, a cat, a slew of chikens, and a pond in their front yard that won’t hold water. She’s pretty sure there’s a metaphor in there somewhere.
